God Provides the Rain

No matter how hard we work, study, and devote ourselves to God's ministry, we will accomplish exactly zero by our own strength.  We need God's help to get anything done properly and he is constantly there to assist us when we ask him in prayer.

God sends the rain which sustains our crops and allows them to grow and thrive.  Zechariah 10:1(TNIV) states, "Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime; it is the Lord who sends the thunderstorms.  He gives showers of rain to all people, and plants of the field to everyone."

With God's helping hand, we can do marvelous things.  Without him, we are helpless and can do nothing.  As David says in Psalm 65:9(TNIV), "You care for the land and water it;  you enrich it abundantly.  The streams of God are filled with water to provide the people with grain; for so you have ordained it."

Let's get out there and work those fields.  God will provide the rain we need in ample measure.
